Sterling and his crew at Salt City Seamers did an unbelievable job in restoring my front seat in record time! In short notice, they were able to get me in the shop and take care of some damage. I took my wife's 2005 Mustang GT convertible to Salt City Seamers. It needed a new top, the leather seat on the driver's side needed some repair, and the side panels on the inside doors were peeling away. The crew at Salt City Seamers were fantastic. They gave me good options for the top, said the seat was no problem, and offered alternatives for the door panels, because they were not a simple replacement. Hands down the fastest and most efficient shop around. I asked Sterling and his team to knock out a custom motorcycle seat , 1 up seat and sissy bar before 2024 Sturgis Rally, they knocked it out for me in 1 DAY!!!!!!! and their work was perfect. These guys are on another level of skill and customer service. I won't ever go anywhere else.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Does it help or save me money to start a project and then bring it into Salt City Seamers?

No, most times that incurs more labor which will cost you more money. 

How far out are you for repairs?

We can typically get you in and done within a week.

How long does a seat repair take?

Seat repairs typically take one day to do by appointment; sometimes it takes a few days to a few weeks to get material in.

How do we know if you have a material on hand to fulfill my repair?

Stopping by in person is the best way to match material grain and color but sometimes a photo will suffice.

Do I need to give a deposit before my job?

Typically not for small repairs under $1000, If your material is a special order then yes. example: if you have perforated leather located where we are repairing.
Larger projects like full restorations require deposits to start. Typically that is half on the estimated price. We are happy to break down payments into thirds.

How far out are you for bigger projects?

Most times we can get you in within a couple weeks.

How long do big projects take?

We strive to complete any larger project like a full auto interior restoration or boat in 2-6 weeks. We have met that timeline 95% of the time since February of 2023.

Can I bring my own parts/material?

Yes, however it is highly advised to ask us before buying any parts/material. Bringing your own parts may void warranty and guarantee.

How does your pricing/Turn around compare to other shops in the valley?

Our pricing is comparable if not better than other shops on the west side of the country. That is why we get customers from NV, CO, WY, CA and AZ. 

We strive to start the estimate process and complete job within 6 weeks. To our knowledge, nobody can compete with that. That might be one of the reasons we won best of SLC 2024. 

How much experience does Salt City Seamers have?

Between a team of 6 we have over 60 years experience. 

Do you offer any discounts?

We provide discounts to our military personnel (active or retired) and emergency responders like POLICE, FIRE, and EMT. A small token of our gratitude for a big sacrifice. 

We also provide wholesale discounts for our dealerships and fleet services. Some of our private customers have earned wholesale status through recurring jobs.
